Marc & Joelle opened Cullenders Delicatessen in late 2008. Both have a great love of food and decided to open a corner shop with a difference. 53 Linkfield Street has everything a traditional corner shop should have, fresh milk delivered daily from Leigh, free range eggs from Newdigate and fresh bread daily from Ardingly. But in addition we also have an extensive cheese counter with cheese coming from the UK, Ireland, France, Spain and Italy.
Fresh Produce & Lunches
As well as our traditional deli counter, we also stock organic seasonal vegetables, excellent pies from the Pie Minister, fresh olives and everyday store cupboard essentials from pasta to tapenade. If you would like us to stock a particular favourite please get in touch and we will try our best to get it in for you.
Each day we prepare fresh baguettes with fillings including, sausage & onion marmlade, roast beef & horseradish, mature cheddar & farmhouse pickle. We also prepare a fresh soup daily and a dish of the day.
Coffees and Treats
We serve take-away coffee which we get from Paddy & Scotts. They are a Suffok based coffee company who roast all their beans from fresh given a richer smoother finish. Why not have a freshly baked pastry or slice of cake to go with it.
